I’ve been charged multiple times

$49 just now to re-load an app. On top of my cloud storage payment. What is going on? I’m trying to find a job and they’re bleeding me out. Do we ink have this place to complain? And nowhere to get actual help?

Lots of missing details there... let's see what we can wean out...

Firstly, which app?

Is this an app you previously purchased via the App Store?

App Store purchases are linked to the Apple Account ID used at the time of purchase. Generally, if you log in with the same ID used for the original purchase you can re-download the app for no additional cost.

So the second question is whether you were logged in using the same Apple Account as the original purchase. Normally the App Store would show a 'Download' or 'Install' link rather than 'Buy' if this was the case.

There are variations on the above, though, based on developer policies, so knowing the app in question is kind of key.

If you're not getting the app through the App Store (e.g. directly from a developer's site), then the purchase/re-download policies may vary. Again... knowing the app in question will go a long way here...

If this was through the App Store and you feel you've been charged incorrectly, https://apple.com/bill is the place to start. It will show you all purchases associated with your Apple Account, and you can request a refund for any that you think are invalid.

To download an app in the App Store, it may be free where you will see the Get button, or the developer of the app may set a price to use their app where you would need to pay. The choice is yours what you want to do. For any purchase in the App Store, you would double click the side button with the amount showing on the screen followed by verification with FaceID/TouchID or Passcode. It should not be surprising to be billed for a charge after performing those steps.

For free trials, there is a message on the Authorization Screen that tells you to avoid a subscription charge, you must cancel the trial at least a day before the trial period ends.

There is no charge to redownload an app that has already been purchased from the Apple App Store. You must be using the same Apple Account used for the initial purchase, which would also be found in the link above to view your purchase history. Purchases are link to the Apple Account, not the device.

Not sure what you are looking to complain about or what exactly the issue is that you are having.
