Why can't I create a new Apple ID account?

When I try to create a new Apple ID, I get the message: “It’s not possible to create an account with this number at the moment.”


I’ve tried using different phone numbers, but it still doesn’t work. However, I can still log in to my old Apple ID account.


What should I do?

Sounds like you're trying to use VoIP or shared phone numbers; neither of those are accepted for new Apple accounts.

Unless you have a very special reason for creating a second Account you should stick with one.
