I need to replace the charge cable for a MacBook Pro 2019 15" to use with the 87W adapter. Apple offers a 240W USB-C Charge Cable (2 m) but my laptop is not on the compatibility list. What can I safely use with this laptop and adapter?

While you don’t NEED a 240w cable, it will most definitely work and be completely safe.
Do note that that the 2m 240w charge cable in the Apple Store (linked below) only supports USB 2.
(Irrelevant if you are only using it for power; but a consideration if you also intend to use it for data)
