Hi, whenever I save/export a pages document as a pdf, on my macbook, I click on the folder into which I need to save the document, but it always saves on desktop instead. This has only started happening in last few weeks. Running Tahoe 26.0.1 . Thank you

I cannot duplicate what you describe here, and have no tested resolution.
Update to macOS Tahoe 26.1 (now available). Once done, press and hold the shift key when relaunching Pages. That suppresses it from loading its last saved executation state, and may allow it to behave as you expect. No promises though.
Pages remembers the last save, save as, or export location. When you change that, it should obey for that instance and those that follow until the location is again changed. That is my experience on Tahoe 26.0.1.
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, this doesn’t happen. I select the desired folder into which I want to save the document, hit the save button, and it goes to Desktop instead.
