Unable to verify payment method for Apple Music subscription

Every time i go to pay for a new apple music subscription, a box saying “To continue on this device, verify at least one payment method. You can also delete any payment method that can’t be verified and add a new one.” My credit card is completely valid and entered in the system. Everything is valid and it stills shows this message up. How do i fix it?

Wondering whether you need to check with the provider of your payment method ... eg: if you have debated a charge from Apple, you may need to authorize payments to Apple again Or eg: a bank may require your authorization for international transactions ...or ... expiry dates on cards may need updating ...

As we are all Apple users, like yourself, in this community ... it's not easy to guess the correct solution from all the possible scenarios ... because, of course, we have no access to your accounts and details.


You may want to check just which payment methods Apple can accept in your country or region:

Payment methods that you can use with your Apple Account - Apple Support


If applicable: Check how to pay for an unpaid previous order

If a message says 'billing problem with previous purchase' or 'verification required' - Apple Support

or

If you have an active subscription: You may need to add a new card before you can delete an old card.

What to do: If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"Complete your purchase if a payment has failed or been declined

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Payment & Shipping.
  4. Add a different payment method and remove the old one
  5. Try to complete your purchase."
