I have a problem with my Magic Keyboard with touch ID

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with my Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID when using it with my iMac. Several keys are not responding — specifically 7, 8, I, M, and a few others.

I’ve tested the keyboard on another iMac, and it worked perfectly there, so the issue seems to be related to my iMac rather than the keyboard itself.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

  • Re-paired the keyboard via Bluetooth and connected it using a cable.
  • Restarted my iMac and updated macOS to the latest version.
  • Checked the keyboard layout and language settings.

Unfortunately, the problem persists. Could you please advise what else I can do, or if there might be a system or Bluetooth issue on my Mac causing certain keys not to work properly?

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards,
