Lost Safari features with latest update.

From the time of the iOS 26 upgrade until today, Safari had features that resembled those of an Apple computer. Features such as the full menu bar (pop down from top) and the window control buttons on the upper left corner. (Red, yellow, green) are now gone, as are the controls the eliminated at that time which included slide over and something like side-by-side and the ability to peel-off a window by its tab. Then in the description of today’s update, it states that a slide over has been added as a window option. But, that is not appearing in any of my apps, including Safari.

So, basically I’m working with a pre-2022 Safari environment .

I contacted a senior advisor and the nonsensical response was to say that that “seems to be” expected behavior. I don’t know about you, but when I speak to a senior advisor, I expect them to give me solid answers, not might, maybe or . . . seems,

That leads me here.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

Has anyone NOT lost those features with the latest update?

iPad, iPadOS 26
