MacOS Messages #images not displaying and gives the following error message.

Using macOS Tahoe v26.1. When trying to use the #images functionality in messages, I get the following error message: "“CFNetworkDownload_9NoM11.tmp” couldn’t be moved to “Caches” because either the former doesn’t exist, or the folder containing the latter doesn’t exist." The images layout displays but they are all blank. What or how do I grant permission to the file or reinstall the needed folders. Thanks!
