Safari tabs all gone

Woke up this morning. Went to check some tabs in my private version. They were all gone. So we’re all my main tabs in the non private version.

trued to long press the plus button it didn’t work. The interface seems different, looks like an update. I had things set up that I was saving for later I can’t recover. How do I restore to how it was? This is beyond upsetting
