1. You can turn off email notifications for this site on: Profile Preferences, in particular for “Following”, and possibly also for “Participation”, and the rest that you do not wish to be notified about. That should be enough for most users.
2. You can ask the forum admins to cancel your forum profile. This is permanent, and can’t be undone, and would erase your profile username from any previous posts. Find their email address in the page with the Terms of Use (§ A.13).
