The compression gestures on both earbuds are not working

AirPods 3 Pro, just bought it and discovered such a fail. the tracks are not switching and the noise cancellation modes are not changing. However, the swipe gesture for volume control is working correctly. I have performed a full factory reset, and the issue persists on multiple devices.

I checked it on iPhone 11 Pro, MacBook m3 and iPad 7G.
