Is there any way to reset the latest Magic Keyboard (with Touch ID, model A3119) to factory settings?
(macOS Tahoe 26)

Normally the behavior of an Apple keyboard is determined by settings in the OS (system settings > keyboard), there is nothing in the keyboard itself.
For connection issues, see
If you can't connect your Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, or Magic Trackpad to your Mac - Apple Support

What exactly is not working correctly that you think you need to do this?
Hi, I do have an issue with My Magic Keyboard with Numpad and Touch ID.
The Image in Bluetooth settings looks like the Small keyboard without NumPad
The TouchID does not work At All
its an A3119
I have tried probably all options but it just does not work with the TouchID key
This is the second new Keyboard I received the first one had the same Issue so it miusst have something todo with my Laptops
MacBook 13" 2019
Sequoia 15.7.2
My Other MacBook Pro (same Issue)
MacBook Pro 16" 2019
Tahoe 26.1
my question:
How can I reset the keyboard A3119 to its factory setting
OR
How to connect the keyboard so it connects and I can use the touchID key
Facts: It does connect via Bluetooth and all keys work except for the TouchID
Thanks! Everything works, no problems. Just wanted to know if there was a way to reset the keyboard to factory setting, couldn't find any info about.
