Customize Apple Music genres and play similar songs

I have just started with Apple Music. And signed on up with the monthly payments and all that . Let’s do this for the app running on an iPad w iOS 17.6.1. Though answers tailored to desktops (iMac running Ventura or Sonoma) would be okay too.

I want to know two things

1.>. How do I clear out all of the Lame Pop off of the Home, Browse, and Radio screens and get the app to start showing me jazz, classical, and lets call it alternative and psychedelic stuff ???

2.>. If I search out a particular song (Say something by Tame Impala ) and play it, how can I get Apple Music to pull similar stuff out of the 100 million songs it supposedly has access too and keep playing more songs ?

I’ve read through a lot of the stuff a search will pull up on line. And yet to find any combination of actions that will bring up a preferred list of Genre’s or anything like that at all. The app mostly just tries to get you to let “friends” see your music. Which i have Absolutely No Interest in. At All.

Any instructions or strategies to help with these questions would be greatly appreciated.
