For some reason, I recently lost ability to reply to some group chats on my IPhone-13 that I used to be able to reply to? I can see all texts from the other chat members, but there is no text box at the bottom of the chat for me to write up a reply and hit send. Any idea how to fix this?

I have the same problem with a group chat and the text box not showing on my other devices (ipad , mac)
But got it back on my iphone 14 (running 26.0.1)
Try a hard reset (volume up, volume down, power button till apple logo) ,
In settings>apps>messages : changing the imessage send and receive to just your number,
Have a friend sending a message through sms (their data) in the group chat instead of wifi (blue),
and on iphone I tried to delete my remaining contact in the group chat deleting email, and
from one of those somehow the text box reappeared back on the iphone.
