Anyone know why my Safari tab groups vanished after upgrading to iMac to OS26.1? Also, "Reopen all windows from last session" no longer works either. Nor does iCloud sync with my iPhone.
I've searched for information using Apple Support AI and Grok and tried all the many suggestions. No change.

iPhone 14 after ios 26.1 - safari couldn't browse on cell. Weather and maps apps stopped updates. Had tried network reset and mobile data on off. No change. Cleared safari cache and closed all open tabs etc nothing changed. Thought it was because backup over cell was on and data limit on cellular connection reached. Other thought icloud account issue. Powered off other devices which I had earlier updated to ios26.1 with no issues. Changed to airplane mode on iphone 14 problem device and on to my wifi. Wifi connection showed in usual position but had yellow msg there saying you aren't connected to internet. Strange because wifi not a problem. BitDefender dashboard then showed with disabled items. Scan phone allowable so scanned and enabled their internet protection and I think other one was scam options and internet came back. (But Safari still weird because not switching from yahoo search engine to google even though google is selected.)
Thanks for your input, however, your experience doesn't seem to shed light on my issue with my desktop iMac.
