Studio Display not detected by MacBook Pro

I recently moved and my Studio Display monitor worked fine before the move. When I hooked it up at the new house it powers on with the three dots but then is not detected by my MacBook Pro 2019 running Tahoe 26.1 doesn't detect the monitor. I've changed the cable and confirmed I can charge my phone from it (so it's not the cable). When I go to Displays in Settings and hold down the option key the Detect Display button appears but you can't click on it.

That Apple studio display can ONLY use the special pre-engineered one meter Thunderbolt cable that shipped in the box.

If you needed to replace that cable, you would need to use an ACTIVE Thunderbolt cable (upwards of US$125) or a standard Thunderbolt cable 0.5 meters or shorter.

The ability to charge over a cable does not imply that you can transmit data over it - much less that the cable is one designed to transmit data reliably at Thunderbolt speeds.
