Kronos Korg keyboard deletes track on Mac Studio

hey everyone! switching from a 2015 macbook pro to a mac studio (2022). I have a Kronos Korg keyboard that I use as a midi keyboard. Never had problems with it on my 2015 macbook, but whenever I start playing on it on the mac studio, it deletes the track automatically. how do i fix this? thanks!
