Completed Reminders not disappearing on MacBook

I am on a MacBook Pro, Sequoia 15.6.1. I just upgraded. In the previous version of Reminders, when I clicked the button to say the task was done, it disappeared from view. This version allows you to check off the reminder but it does not disappear. Is there a way to get the tasks to disappear like the previous version?
