Apple SD card reader not recognized

Hi! I’m having trouble with my Apple SD card reader, I have a 14 Plus on IOS 18.6.2 and it’s not picking up the card reader. Usually it pops up with an ‘imports’ section in my photos (which it hasn’t done this time) and it’s not showing in my files app either. Any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated!!
