Thanks for the quick response.
To the best of my knowledge, I have never used a free offer before and given that it was offered to me via email, it seems that Apple doesn't feel that I've already used one -- or why did they send the email?
The problem here is simple. When I try to claim my free offer, I click the link in the email and am taken to a site that asks for my password. I fill it in. It doesn't work. Now, obviously, I can get into this with passkey, fingerprint, face ID, etc., so there's no problem with the password, and I don't want to change it because, having recently purchased an iPhone and a watch, I've done enough verifications, and it's not worth it. I do find it curious that every other Apple site (for instance, this one) is EZ to get into. I don't think the problem is on my end.
How do I fix this? I want to try Apple News and be an Apple News customer. Also, is it possible that I responded to a fake offer? It didn't seem fake, and it knew I'd recently purchased an Apple product.
Thanks,
Flint
