pmset no longer works with Tahoe 26.1

Issues with pmset

I can't schedule my Mac to start at 9 AM every day of the week with Mac version Tahoe 26.1

iMac 27″, macOS 26.1

Is FileVault still enabled? By default the installation of Tahoe turns it on. Unless you enter the password immediately after it tries to start up, it will shut back down. If it’s still on, turn it off in privacy and security system settings.


If that’s not it, What command do you enter and what is the response and what does this command return.

pmset -g sched
