Apple Music trial removed downloaded music

After accepting an Apple Music (One) trial I noticed that many of my music downloads were removed from the iPad. I would suppose that any songs I have purchased from the iTunes store would appear on the Mac mini M4, iPhone 13 Pro and iPad M3, but this is inconsistent, maybe because they are not completely contemporary to each other (?) even though they are in the same Apple ID and latest pre-26 systems.

Any ideas?
