MacBook Pro Broadband Radio type support

I have a 2019 mbp 16" 5600m i9 9980hk, I am having an issue where my Wi-Fi is running in 802.11a, it doesn't even say 802.11ac is supported/available Radio types supported : 802.11a 802.11n 802.11g 802.11b

I reverted the Broadband driver to 101.10.152.10 as people recommended to online saying the newer versions stuffed it up.

It runs in 802.11AC on macOS

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.1

Where are you seeing this informatIon?

This is Not an issue that has ever been reported here.

Restore your MacOS to what was running before.

If your Wi-Fi only runs as 802.11a, this is a ROUTER issue and not a Mac issue. The Router sets the operating rules. MacBook Pro 16-in intel is perfectly capable of 802.11 ac rules, but your ROUTER must transmit using those rules.

Sorry my mistake I didn’t seem to mention the error was in boot camp.

I am getting the supported radio channel info by running this in the command prompt.

 netsh wlan show drivers

I have tried updating boot camp services to the latest version via boot camp app on macOS download boot camp support software option, it still doesn’t show 802.11ac, It DOES on macOS though so I can’t see it being a router issue.
