Glance Network Problem

Problems with accessing Glance Software; We continue to download the Glance software on our new MacBook Pro device and it will not open. The download shows as open but does not appear. Troubleshooting with Glance showed the problem was on our end (Apple or device). Glance works fine on our old Mac device and we are at a loss how to get it functional on our new device. At least 5 Apple "senior techs" have tried in vain. It's clearly a setting or our new device is a lemon! Please provide any insight available. Thanks, Joe C/5**-***-***0

Minimum System Requirements

The following computer specifications are considered the minimum required for an acceptable experience while using glance:

Operating System: Windows 10

CPU: Intel i3 8th generation or greater, AMD Ryzen 3 or greater

RAM: 8GB

A supported Glance camera

I see no evidence thais can possibly work on a Mac.

if this is not the product you are referencing, please provide some link to the product, because the name is too broad to be searched effectively.

if this software works using the MacBook Pro camera, you would need to be certain that glance has permission to use the camera:

settings > Privacy& Security > Camera

you should see glance software listed if it has Tried to use the camera. Then you can slide the slider to allow.

if glance uses its own camera, you would need to allow that peripheral to connect, as that is also not automatic under the latest macOS.

-------

Beyond that, software should simply not be so difficult to use. The developers of glance software made money selling it to you. Regardless of whose problems this turns out to be, they are the ones obligated to support you, else their product is unusable and you will return it.

if they have not included tools to determine where the problem lies, then their product and support is inadequate.
