MacBook Air restarts when closed after Tahoe 26.1 update

Recently my MacBook Air has started restarting itself when I close it up. It usually takes a couple minutes to think about it, then I hear the chime as it turns itself back on. I think this started happening when I installed Tahoe 26.1 a couple weeks ago. I hadn't updated it very recently before that. It's a 2020 MacBook Air with 245.11 gig and 56.72 available.
