Why doesn't "New Music Mix" recommend more new releases from artists that I already like?

Apple Music "New Music Mix" recommendations need work. I've got lots of favorite artists yet many of them don't end up in my weekly "New Music Mix" typically has minimal new music from my favorite artists instead opting for a majority of the recommendations from artists that I have never heard of and typically don't like.
