If I am understanding correctly, private relay is in the way, here is what it is and how to turn it off.
What is iCloud Private Relay?
iCloud Private Relay is a feature available with an iCloud+ subscription that enhances your privacy while browsing the internet on Safari. It works by encrypting your internet traffic and routing it through two separate relays. This process hides your IP address and browsing activity from websites and network providers, making it harder for them to track you.
Key Features
- Encryption: Your browsing data is encrypted, preventing your internet service provider from seeing your activity.
- IP Address Masking: Your actual IP address is hidden, and websites only see a general location.
- Safari Only: This feature only works with Safari and does not protect browsing in other apps.
How to Disable iCloud Private Relay on an iPad,
If you need to disable iCloud Private Relay, follow these steps:
- Open Settings: Tap on the Settings app on your iPad.
- Access iCloud Settings: Tap on your name at the top, then select "iCloud."
- Find Private Relay: Scroll down and tap on "Private Relay."
- Turn Off Private Relay:
- To disable it completely, tap "Turn Off Private Relay."
- To disable it temporarily, select "Turn Off Until Tomorrow."
