Recently used emojis not saving in some apps on iPhone

Recent Emojis Not Staying in Front

This is my response to the above closed issue. I’m using iPhone 16+ running iOS 18.5. I believe the problem is with the individual apps and not with our iPhones, as other users have posted.

The Twitter/X doesn’t add a recently used emoji to the the Most Recently Used area and I’m sure there are other apps that don’t work correctly. Please list those apps that don’t work correctly.

Apple’s Notes app and Messages app work perfectly. Thank you.

Why can’t other users give us a list of apps that don’t allow emojis to be copied to the recently used category?

The Apple apps work fine, for me, and Twitter doesn’t work correctly.

So if we knew which apps don’t work for other users than that would indicate that these the third-party apps are the issue, not the Apple emoji keyboard.

The previous topics regarding this issue seemed to indicate that it was an Apple issue when it’s actually a third-party issue.
