Apple TV App display issues after tvOS update

My Apple TV 4K has just auto updated to TVOS 26.1. The opening screen on the Apple TV App now has the top half of the first row of the "Continue Watching" programs at the bottom, below the advertised program. When I scroll down though, the second screen has the bottom of the advertised program covering the top third of the tv screen. As the first advertised program is currently PLUR1BUS, this consists of the black dashboard of the vehicle being driven.

During daylight hours the "Continue Watching" and lower items are on an off-white background. When the eye adjusts to this, with a third of the screen being totally black, it causes the off-white area to appear overly bright and is very uncomfortable to view. Scrolling down further gets rid of the black bar but you then have to scroll back up to get access to the "Continue Watching" items and so the black bar re-appears.
