CarPlay missing in BMW X5, user told
I just purchased a 2018 BMW X5 35i. It doesn’t have apple car play, and I was told I had to purchase the app from Apple? Can you please help me out?

I did some research and found that your car requires a CarPlay subscription from BMW, it doesn’t come included with the car.
In my experience, to buy the CarPlay subscription go to your BMW app, and click on the icon with a shopping bag and car in front. This will take you to the page where you can see all the subscriptions you can pay for, look for CarPlay
For clarification APPLE DOESN’T CHARGE, BMW DOES.
