Darkening behind Notification Center toggle? iOS 26

(iOS 26) Will the darkening behind the Notification Center ever be optional? I noticed you can remove it by toggling the "Reduce Transparency" in Accessibility settings, but in turn makes EVERYTHING solid and dark!

I wish there was an option to just remove the darkening! I have a hard time reading darker screens, so it's a total bummer!! 😞

I've seen quite a large handful of people disappointed and confused about it too-- so it'd be really nice if it was optional. I'm surprised it wasn't in the first place!
