Mac Studio OS 15.6.1 can't install Chrome Remote Desktop

New Mac Studio OS 15.6.1 attempting to install Chrome Remote Desktop ("CRD"); install won't complete when selecting pin for CRD; only accepts 3 digits when at least 6 required. CRD works perfectly on other Macs. Apple Support tech stumped. CRD application located at Macintosh HD/Users/my name/Applications/Chrome Apps. All other applications located at Macintosh HD/Applications. CRD has access under Privacy & Security/Files and Folders and Full Disk Access. However, under Privacy & Security/Remote Desktop, the CRD is not seen or listed. All software up to date, and everything rebooted. No change.
