On iOS 26.1 with iPhone 15, I'm using the video editor built in to the Photos app. When I shorten a video and then do "Save Video as New Clip", I can't find the new clip.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

That worked!
In the Photos app, I chose Library, then at the top I chose the “inverted pyramid Hamburger” and then chose Sort by Recently Added, and the new clip was the most recent.

Have you looked in Recently Saved. I find duplicates their when I thought they'd be with the original.
Let us know-- we could come up with other thing to try if that doesn't work.
Great! "I always try Sort, but Recently Saved" is a separate view in the Utilities section. I don't quite get it, but sometimes that works when Sort doesn't.
