How do I remove a company-owned MacBook Pro from my personal Apple Account without access to the device?

Remove Device From Account

I have possession of a MacBook Pro (a company owned laptop) that is showing in my personal Apple Account list of trusted devices. When I try to remove it from my personal account, I get the following message:

"Can’t Remove Device From Account on the Web

To help protect your account, some of your personal information can’t be changed on the web. To remove a device from your account, use one of your Apple devices that is signed in with this account in the Settings app.

I don't have access to this laptop

(first device company) should be deleted

  • CompanyWMD6P
  • MacBook Pro 16″

I have access to this laptop

(second device also company but I'm using it)

  • CompanyL-58
  • MacBook Air"

I also have bought my private Mac Studio, which I would like to provide as my main tool.

I've tried to remove it from my personal apple account on my L-58 laptop and Mac Studio (private), but this error appears.

How do I remove this company owned laptop from my personal Apple Account? I don't have access to it, that was my first apple computer and didn't know much about that.

I have tried on web and on settings using my company (second laptop) and private Mac Studio

Do what it says, remove it from another device, not from the website.

From any other device logged in to your Apple account, go to (System) Settings ➜ Apple Account and find the computer in the device list there.

Click or tap on it, and the click one tap on "Remove from Account".
