Allow iPod touch to access MacBook after accidental denial

I recently started using an old iPod touch I had and when I was on my MacBook it asked me if I wanted to allow the iPod touch to access my MacBook and I accidentally clicked don’t allow. How do I change it so my iPod can access my MacBook?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 26.1

Unplug the iPod, on the iPod go to Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Location & Privacy, then plug it back into the Mac, unlock the iPod and the “Trust This Computer?” prompt should appear — tap Trust. … If that won’t show up, try a different Lightning/USB cable or port and restart both devices, check Finder (or iTunes on older macOS) to see if the iPod appears. … As a last resort you can clear all paired devices on the Mac with

sudo rm -rf /var/db/lockdown/*

in Terminal (requires admin password and removes pairings for every iOS device), then reboot and reconnect.
