Just bought a MacBook Pro (45345Z). Go to AppStore, select the apps I want to download, it can’t find them & shows completely different apps. Just updated software to latest Sequoia version.

For apps not available in the App Store you should be able to (1) do a search by name and then (2) go to the site(s) shown and download the apps. In some cases there will be required fee to pay. Also, it is important to understand that downloading these apps sometimes installs problems you don't want.
