ASUS XG32UCWG connectivity to Macbook Pro M1 pro (looking for best settings and accuracy)

Hello. I have monitor Asus XG32UCWG it's a 165 Hz Oled. And I am connecting it to my Macbook pro M1 pro.

Can someone help me to set it up to get perfect, apple like screen and colours quality?

I tried to connect this monitor to my old 2019 iMac and colours in monitor looked like in iMac, clear, accurate, like iMac's screen. but when I connect Macbook pro, colours looks not so good, a bit oversaturated, darkish a bit. When I set Hidpi on betterdisplay app, quality improves, but then Hz drops to 60-90 Hz.

I dont know what to do? I was trying different colour profiles, different settings, cables. Apple thunderbolt 4 and DP 1.4 to USB C and still cant figure out where is a problem.

I want my Asus monitor look best and as accurate as Apple screens.

That display appears to be a 3840 by 2160 (4K) display, capable of HiDPI (10 bits/color) with refresh rates up to 165 Hz. Supports Picture-By-Picture

Interfaces include

2x HDMI 2.1

1 DisplayPort 1.4

1 USB-C 3.2 with up to 15 Watts power delivery (caution, the Mac USB-C ports that are not ThunderBolt-capable may not be fast enough)

DisplayPort:

IF the display supported ThunderBolt, you could it at HiDPI as high as 144 Hz using Thunderbolt. Otherwise, the DisplayPort interface required is only available on a ThunderBolt Dock. A USB-C cable out of the Mac is not fast enough, so a USB to DisplayPort adapter is also not fast enough. A Thunderbolt to DisplayPort adapter uses too much power to exist as a small dongle -- it requires the extra power provided by a Thunderbolt dock.

HDMI:

Your model 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Pro supports only HDMI 2.0. So using ONE HDMI cable, it can run HiDPI at up to only 50 Hz.

You could conceivably use the Built-in HDMI port AND a USB-C to HDMI adapter together (TWO Cables). Each cable runs one half (Left or Right) of the display data, at much more modest speed. A display capable of Picture-by Picture puts the two halves back together. Users who have tried this call it "seamless", once it has been set up.
