Bypassing activation lock in a 2nd generation mini iPad

Bypassing activation lock for a mini 2nd generation a friend if my sons gave him this mini 2 iPad but it has a activation lock and his friend said it belonged to his uncle and has no idea the email account it was on or any lock it may have had it’s not stolen so his friend says and it was given to him so is there anyway to bypass it and if so would it even be worth it thank you for any help in this matter

The iPad Mini 2 was released in 2013, so it is 12 year old technology that was discontinued in 2017 ( so yours is at least 8 years old), and it considered obsolete by Apple.


It essentially has no value, so consider getting a later model iPad. They are even on sale this week on Amazon.
