Change Apple ID email from Gmail to iCloud

Hello! I've been using my Apple ID, which is created from Gmail account / mail, for quite a while (all my Apple devices are signed in with @gmail account). However, I've stopped using Google services entirely and would like to switch my account from gmail to iCloud. Is there a way to change my current account from exmaple@gmail.com to example@cloud.com on all my devices without creating a new account? (i have also iCloud mail, but my main account devices logged in via gmail, and in setting my account appear in exmaple@gmail.com)

Yes, but it is not a good idea to use your iCloud email address as your Apple ID. Should you have problems with your account, Apple will be sending emails to the very place where you cannot read them because you are having problems with that account.
