Apple Music subscription paid but not active

I live in Russia and pay for Apple Music through a mobile operator. I paid for the subscription yesterday, but there is nothing in my app, and I was advised to contact here. Just please give me a music to me back

I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this — but there is an important limitation you need to know:

❗ Apple has officially discontinued Apple Music services in Russia

Since 2022, Apple:

Stopped processing App Store / Apple Music payments in Russia
Disabled new subscriptions
Disabled renewals through Apple
Disabled payment methods from mobile operators
Limited access to many Apple online services

Even if your mobile operator charged you, Apple does not activate or renew Apple Music subscriptions inside Russia anymore.

Your operator may still bill you, but Apple cannot turn the subscription on — the system is blocked at Apple’s side.

This is why:

You paid
Your operator says it’s active
But Apple Music still says “not subscribed”
And the app will not unlock

This is working as Apple currently enforces it.
