Apple Watch Series 8 and iPhone 15 Pro displaying zoomed keypad on Lock Screen after iOS 26 update

Today I woke up to my alarm on my Apple Watch Series 8. The lock screen showed part of the keypad numbers, but they were zoomed to the point that there were only 2 numbers showing. This resulted in being unable to unlock the screen, no matter what I tried to reduce the size. I ended up switching the watch off with the button and crown on the side. Once it restarted everything was back to normal. A few days earlier a similar thing happened on my iPhone 15Pro. It was impossible to ‘shrink’ the screen that showed part of the touchpad with just 2 numbers that almost covered the entire screen. This has happened since installing IOS 26. Any ideas what’s causing this, and an easy fix?
