iCloud Calendar not syncing to iPad, internet error

i recently got an upgraded phone but my icalendar is not syncing with ipad. apparently there is a different email i used to create some of the calendars and now that icloud email is not accepted. keeps saying there is an error with internet connection


i used the same Apple ID (gmail as primary email) but apparently an iCloud email for my calendars.


I tried all the suggestions online to check settings. I’ve been doing this for two weeks and wasted a lot of hours!


please help

Did you make sure, that on your iPhone in Settings/iCloud/iCloud Calendar -> Use on this iPhone is enabled and the correct mail addresses are selected in the Account Settings beneath?


Also make sure that no VPN or Firewall is blocking the contact to Apple servers.
