2019 Macbook Angle Sensor Problem
My 16in 2019 macbook pro has developed the unfortunate problem of keeping the display on, despite the macbook being closed. As you close the lid, there's a period where the screen turns off, but then right as the lid is all the way closed, the screen turns back on again and won't sleep until the battery is dead and my backpack is practically aflame.
I've seen cases where replacement angle sensors need to be calibrated by Apple to work properly, but everything about my computer is OEM, I've never even had the lid off. I'm pretty clearly outside warranty, but is there anything I can do without paying loads of money for a new sensor replacement?
