iPhone 11's battery draining rapidly and charger port not working

The battery SHOULD have been replaced, likely about 2 years ago. Apple says to replace the battery when its health dips to 80%. Trying to operate an iPhone with such a severely depleted battery would be awful and even worse, possibly dangerous. Depleted batteries overheat and eventually swell, which could destroy your phone or even go up in flames.

I would recommend you immediately STOP using the phone, power it off and either schedule a battery replacement at your Apple Store Genius Bar or maybe it's time to trade the phone (assuming it doesn't have any real damage) to Apple and buy a new iPhone.

PLEASE don't delay this. Your battery is SEVERELY depleted.

If the Battery Health on the phone is in the 60s, the battery should have been replaced a few years ago.

There is no guarantee that a new battery will solve all the problems......( the Lighthing port may have also failed)......but you will continue to have issues until you do replace the battery.

Worst case, your phone will need a new battery and a new main board, and that gets expensive....estimate $500 range....so the money might be better spent towards a new phone.

You'll have to gamble about $100 to see if just a new battery will get things going and continue to charge using wireless. If the battery doesn't do it though, you are out the $100 unless you opt for more expensive board repairs.

If the Battery Capacity is below 80% you should get the battery replaced by Apple or an Authorised Apple Service Provider.
