Mac mini: Collaboration and file sharing options

Am about to buy a new Mac Mini but want to collaborate with 5 other remote people - to share an update files etc. What is the best way? Some have their own Apple user id's, some do not.

Do we all use one i/d?

Do we have one iCloud or multiple?

I agree with @Rudegar, sharing an Apple Account with others is never a good idea.

If you are looking to collaborate with others and need to file share, there are systems in place that allow that. MS Teams and Google Drive are two that come to mind.

You can use iCloud Drive by sharing specific folders with others to whom you have invited and given permission.

However, this process does not include sharing the same Apple ID Account.

Another option for sharing files is Dropbox. You will need one person to set it up and manage the access options and general control of its use.

I have used this in the past when collaborating on projects and seemed to work well. You just need to be mindful of how you organize it, especially if it is a large project as it can get out of control rather quickly.
