I can't verify and download apps with my Apple Account

Why is it that every time I try to download an app from apple store with my apple account, it says “needs verification”. When I hit the “continue”, it takes me to card info. I put that in (well, make sure that it hasn’t changed), and it takes me back to said app, but a thing shows up saying “can’t verify”… why??

  • Does the region of your payment method match the region of your device?
  • Has the card been previously used for a purchase that was unable to be processed or had a chargeback from the bank for a purchase?


Since we have no access to your account to determine the reason, it may be best to contact Apple directly. The ones I provided are common reasons, but there may be something else on your account that we would not know.
