Spending as much money as I did on my iPhone 16 pro I expected much better quality. Is anyone else having issues with dropped call, 5g running like 3g, and picture messages unable to send? Software is up to date, I’ve tried power cycling, and have anti virus software to protect against the malicious content. Any other fix tips or is this just what Apple is now?

Everything you described is network related, so if it is not your cellular provider or connection, then get rid of the software that affects the network connections. No that is not what is expected with the iPhone 16 Pro and not what is experienced by the millions of others that have the device.
