To answer your questions, no it is not a fake magsafe and it is connected to a 20W source.
If the update did this, it would have likely done it to everyone who updated to iOS 26. But it didn't. It certainly didn't for me or anyone I know. And this forum would be flooded with complaints if iOS 26 did this, yet it's not.
The easiest thing to try would be a Forced Restart (something I do after EVERY iOS update) --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
If that doesn't help, it would be helpful if you have another MagSafe or Qi charger you could place your phone on to see if it's the phone hardware or the charger you're using.
