Apple Watch Not Adding Items to Named Reminders List (e.g., Grocery List, Hardware List, etc.)

I'm on the latest non-beta versions of iPadOS 26.1, iOS 26.1, and watchOS 26.1 and I’m having issues adding items to named reminders list using my Apple Watch. For example, I do this using Siri on may watch, "Add bottled water to the grocery list" and it comes back with, "I didn't find a "To" list. Do you want to create one?"

This happens with any of my named lists. Adding reminders in general works find.

This works every single time if I use the exact same phrase on either my iPhone or my iPad.

This started happening a few months ago, then started working again, but the in the last week or so it stopped working.

I've rebooted both my iPhone and Watch.

I have a list named "Groceries" (plural) and I rarely have issues saying "Add bottled water to groceries list". Note that I'm not using the article "the", just saying "to groceries list".

Occasionally, but really rarely, Siri will reply "but you don't have a Groceries list". In which case I repeat the statement and it goes through.

I'm also on iOS 26.1 on my iPhone and watchOS 26.1 on my Apple Watch.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did rename my grocery list from "Grocery List" to "Groceries" and now when I say "Add xyz to groceries" it now works...

If I say add xyz to groceries list it still comes back with "I didn't find a "To" list"

Oddly it still isn't working with a list I named "Hardware". It just doesn't work for that list and has that same response.
