iPad home page folders not showing names

How do I show folder names on iPad home page?

I have my app icons sorted into folders, but, unlike on my phone, the folder names are not showing. I need the text labels; the individual icons are too small for me to see which is which.

Just read that “In large size, the names of the apps disappear.”

What the??? Can we talk accessibility here??? I want big icons AND text. I’m a million years old and need the assist!

I changed back to regular size icons and restarted the iPad and the folder names didn’t reappear.
